Hi! My name is Heather Thompson and I am the Designer/Owner of Snickerdoodle Dreams. I am a self-taught designer and have been creating both digital and traditional artistic creations since 1999.
Snickerdoodle Dreams was created to meet the demand for professional country, primitive and whimsical web clip art and high quality print designs for the professional crafter as well as personal uses.
We are proud to currently serve over 500 businesses throughout the world with our limited commercial use license and we're still growing. I currently license my designs for products such as digitized embroidery, scrapbook papers, digital scrapbook software, placemats, wire sculptures and more. If you are a company that is looking to work with a professional artist for your products, please review my licensing page for more information.
I have created several successful businesses (other than Snickerdoodle Dreams) within the past 7 years that include an auction template web site and online talk radio show.
My greatest joy from designing comes from hearing my customer's responses when they receive and use the SD designs. Thank you to all my wonderful customers!
You can download a designer profile interview I had with a wonderful lady and business owner, Judi Kaufman, for the August 2005 Create & Decorate magazine. It's a wonderful write-up that I want to share with you!

Here are the 17 rules I "try" to live by on a daily basis. It's my hope that you will find these as rules that can fit into your own life!
1. Count your blessings.
2. Today and everyday, deliver more than you are getting paid to do.
3. Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long.
4. Always reward your long hours of labor and toil in the very best way, surrounded by your family.
5. Build this day on the foundation of pleasant thoughts. Never fret at any imperfections that you fear may impede your progress.
6. Let your actions speak for you, but be forever on guard against the terrible traps of false pride and conceit that can halt your progress.
7. Each day is a special gift from God, and while life may not always be fair, you must never allow the pains, hurdels and handicaps of the moment to poison your attitude and plans for yourself and your future.
8. Never again clutter you days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along.
9. Live this day as if it will be your last.
10. Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were not going to be here tomorrow.
11. Laugh at yourself and at life.
12. Never neglect the little things.
13. Welcome every morning with a smile.
14. You will achieve your grand dream, a day at a time, so set goals for each day - - - not long and difficult projects, but chores that will take you, step by step, toward your rainbow.
15. Never allow anyone to rain on your parade and thus cast a pail of gloom and defeat on the entire day.
16. Search for the seed of good in every adversity.
17. Realize that true happiness lies within you.
