COMMERCIAL/PROFESSIONAL (LIMITED) USAGE TERMS:

(monetary profits acquired by you, using Snickerdoodle Dreams graphics/digital collections for your commercial project(s), business(s) and/or product(s)

All images, designs, clip art, printables, websets and products offered at Snickerdoodle Dreams through CDs, instant downloads, free offers are the creations of Heather Paige and are protected by the US and international copyright law. SD customers may use our designs for personal usage as long as your projects are handmade by you! SD customers may also use our designs for commercial purposes as long as you purchase our Commercial License per product prior to your commercial usage.

Update: November 2009 These terms are subject to change and it is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that he/she is aware of our most current terms of usage.

At Snickerdoodle Dreams, we do allow our graphics/digital collections to be used for the following limited commercial usages. However, there are certain restrictions due to current SD product offerings on our website as well as binding contracts through licensing that PROHIBIT THE USE OF SD DESIGNS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNERS: 

 

PROHIBITIONS OF COMMERCIAL USAGE:

* Digitizing for machine embroidery (Due to binding licensing contracts)

* Greeting Cards or E-Cards (Due to binding licensing contracts)

* Patchwork/Quilting/Stitching Patterns (Due to Snickerdoodle Dreams offering these patterns for sale)

* Mass Producing Sharing/Redistributing Files

* Sharing/Redistributing Files  

* Offering S/Dreams designs as your own designs or in your own subscription areas of for downloads

* Freeware

 

~ Webpage/Blog Designers are more then welcome to register for a commercial/profressional (limited usage) license to use any of our graphics/digital collections (free and/or paid) for commercial sites they design, however, each site must be registered individually. Each website/blog created for a client must be a unique, original and specific to that client, i.e. you may not create one web/blog set use it multiple times for various clients.

 

DO NOT USE:

DO NOT use any Snickerdoodle Dreams graphics/digital collections to design web/blog templates for resale. This includes any doodles, borders/headers and overlays, etc. Since with templates, you would be including a form of the raw file in its original format, size and shape. Easily 'extracted' from your template. If this is something you are interested in doing, please contact me via email, I am sure we can work something out. 

 

DO NOT share these graphics/digital collections (either in it's original format or any individual elements of it) with anyone outside your primary residence - including family or friends, in any means of transport, including but not limited to the internet, CD or Snail Mail. (If you share your primary residence with a spouse/child/mother/father, then it would be acceptable on my part that they too can use the kit. As long as their primary residence is the same as yours.) Please send family and friends to Snickerdoodle Dreams so they may purchase their own individual graphics/digital collections.

 

DO NOT sell the file(s) as I have sold them to you, or in doodle sets, overlay sets, templates or tubes/brushes. 

 

DO NOT include any graphics, digital collections or commercial products in your items for sale without modification (colorize at least), EXCEPT when I say on description that modification is not required for this/that product. 

 

DO NOT create products with JUST my designs. 

 

DO NOT alter my graphics/digital collections and claim them as your own. You may not take any part of my graphics and add them to your own graphic and claim the resulting graphic as your own. It also implicates that you may NOT use my graphics/digital collections to create product(s) to sell as Commercial Use. 

 

DO NOT remove any notice of copyright(s) included in the graphics/digital collections.

 

DO NOT make any of the graphics/digital collections or free offers into "tubes" or "brushes" and redistribute them. 

 

DO NOT offer these copyrighted graphics/digital collections on any web site as downloads (paid or free) or send them through a news list as Yahoo Groups, Google, MSN or any other file sharing groups. They are NOT for your free distribution. This is considered pirating, and is ILLEGAL! 

 

 

PLEASE USE FOR: (Commercial Only)

YOU MAY use my graphics/digital collections as website graphics, as part of a trademark, promote your business, website graphics (websites/blog layouts, blog headers, page toppers, websets, etc) provided a commercial license collection is purchased. You must contact me first with your intent of use and get the approval. At Snickerdoodle Dreams, we are quite happy to see our graphics/digital  collections in use. Images for web graphics must be in 72 ppi/dpi resolution.  

 

You are responsible for resizing the images to meet this criteria. Snickerdoodle Dreams is not responsible under any circumstances for any loss or damages resulting from the use or inability to use products provided. 

 

If you use my graphics/digital collections for COMMERCIAL USE as website graphics (home based business websites/blogs layouts, blog headers, page toppers, web sets, etc...) Credit should also be stated on your website/blogs, etc with a link back to our site:   http://www.snickerdoodledreams.com

 

YOU MAY use these graphics/digital collections for your own commercial projects, provided a Commercial Licence is obtained upon purchase of your collections and you have read the restrictions exposed in our Terms Of Usage. 

 

YOU MAY make one copy of this graphic/digital collection for back up purposes only, but not with the intent to redistribute.

  

YOU MAY use our graphics/digital collections for your small home business crafts, for example: hand-finished products such as candy wrappers, recipe cards, jar labels, greeting cards, invitations, note cards, stationery sets, mouse pads, book covers, place mats, gift bags, gift boxes, etc. These crafts must be sold in a tangible, non-digital format. 

 

They may not be mass-produced (more than 1000 products using the same design during the period of one calendar year). 

 

Please, provide me with an example of what you will be using my graphics for, for instance a photograph of finished crafts, a small sample of your greeting cards, etc. We love to see how our products are being used. 

  

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Snickerdoodle Dreams shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any loss or damages resulting from the use or inability to use products provided. Please be sure to read the entirety of the description(s) in our store for purchased graphics/digital collections. It will state if an item is geared toward a specific program, size, etc.

 

SCRAP FOR OTHERS (S4O) / SCRAP FOR HIRE (S4H) LICENSE:

(a commercial limited usage license is required) 

YOU MAY use our graphics/digital collections to create custom scrapbook layouts or albums (with photos, not quick pages) for clients, as long as they are not mass-produced – meaning individual layouts or albums for individual clients. 

 

YOU MAY also use our quick page albums and templates (for example 12x12 pages or brag book pages) to create pages for your clients. But it's not allowed to create quick pages with my products for re-sale or to use my quick pages for resale. 

 

One condition of any digital layout done for a commission is that your client may only be provided with a flattened version of your creation. In other words, either a printed image or a flattened file in JPG-format (in the case where you are distributing it electronically via email, DVD or web download, for example). Please do not give away layered images where our graphics/digital collections can be easily extracted and re-used (that is the same as redistribution of my graphics). 

 

Each layout or album created for a client must be a unique, original and specific to that client, i.e. you may not create one set of pages and use it multiple times for various clients. 

 

By purchasing these graphics/digital collections or obtaining any free downloadable’s at  Snickerdoodle Dreams, you are agreeing to our terms of this user license.
